What is it?
Completely waterproof, windproof and insulated, the Women's Nuuk Parka from Fjallraven is the perfect jacket for everyday or urban winter use, especially here in the UK considering the rainfall. A whole multitude of pockets and a two way adjustable hood with a fur lining increases its cosiness and warmth.
What is it made of?
Insulation: On top of being extremely resistant to moisture and wind, the Nuuk is insulated with an amazing 250g of Supreme Microloft, a synthetic insulation that will still maintain its warmth even when wet.
Membrane: Using an environmentally friendly fluorocarbon-free Hydratic membrane, Fjallraven have provided a water and windproof barrier against the elements while still maintaining a casual look and a soft to the touch feel.
What are the features?
A whole multitude of pockets are included, with two large bellows pockets with buttoned closures, two large chest pockets with zip closures and one sleeve pocket for a ski pass or more likely some keys or a small phone. Inside is equipped with two large stretch mesh storage pockets, a media pocket with a fox hole and a card hole, then lastly an additional security pocket hides other valuable items. Two spacious fur lined hand warmer pockets guarantee to warm your mitts up in the coldest of conditions.
The large insulated hood is super cosy and warm, with a synthetic fur lining that encompasses your neck in warmth while the hood is down. If you're not a fan of the fur, it can be removed easily and quickly. The inner of the collar is also fleece-lined for further warmth and comfort.
How does it fit?
The Nuuk has quite a relaxed fit so you can easily throw it on no matter what layers you have on underneath. If you prefer a closer, more tapered fit in the waist, then simply synch up the drawcord at the waist.
