The Expanse Drop Bottom Duffel takes your standard duffel, adds a selection of organisation options, plus a stowaway grab handle and fast rolling, durable wheels to give you your perfect heavy duty travel companion. Featuring a whopping 120L of storage, this behemouth of a bag will swallow your whole wardrobe of outdoor gear, bike/ski equipment or just about anything you desire while travelling the world. Eagle Creek have used their own abrasion resistant materials for this tough bag, made from a mixture of high density polyesters with "Fabric Blocking Technology" that helps to hide scuffs and the strains of travel so your bag keeps its good looks for longer. They have also included innovative Bi-Tech armour plating on high abrasion areas to make sure this versatile bit of luggage can cope with whatever you throw at it.
Entry into the duffel is accessed by a wide opening, thick zip which runs the entire way around the bag, allowing you to unpack and pack quickly without restriction. Once you open the Drop Bottom Duffel up, you find two internal compression straps to clamp everything down, minimising the amount that your kit rolls about during transit and just keeping everything safe and secure. When opening, you'll also find that the inside of the lid has a large pocket of it's own with a zip-away divider. This separates wet and dry or dirty and clean clothes into their own compartments. When you're fully packed and ready to go, you can lock the main compartment for safe and secure travel. Providing further space (not lockable) are two zippered end pockets, ideal for a boarding pass, keys or a phone while in the airport. Another clever feature is a selection of lashing points on the outer of the duffel to attach water bottles, umbrellas, small dogs etc.
Two tough, rubber treaded multi-directional wheels sit on a tough chassic with a build in kick plate to cope with bashing up kerbs or over rough ground. On smooth surfaces the Expanse glides effortlessly with little or no effort required, while the tough retractable grab handle reduces twisting. If you don't fancy dragging the Expanse along on it's wheels, simply tuck the handle away and carry via the grab handles on the top and sides (if you're feeling strong).
