With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

The Mountain Equipment Shroud jacket is a lightweight technical hooded fleece mid-layer garment that is designed specifically for climbing and mountaineering but works well as a thermal mid-layer for all mountain activities.
Polartec 100M microfleece is used throughout the main body to provide lightweight insulation and moisture control, this comfortable fleece fabric dries quickly and offers reliable performance all year round. The side panels, underarms and cuffs are made using the fantastic Pontetorto 245 Technostretch fabric; a bi-component smooth faced stretch fabric with a soft pile lining that has both insulation and high wicking properties. Way back in 1985 Pontetorto, an Italian fabric producer, were the first company to develop a range of pile fleece fabrics for technical active wear and have been making high quality innovative fabrics ever since.
The Shroud Jacket has flatlock seams throughout as these are the strongest and offer smooth next-to-the-skin comfort if you want to use the Shroud as an extreme weather base layer. The two zipped hand pockets have been placed to avoid climbing harnesses and pack waist belts and the Technostretch hood will fit under a climbing or cycling helmet for low bulk insulation. Both the hood and cuffs are bound with Lycra for comfort, quick drying and to keep the weight down and the cuffs also feature thumb loops to keep the sensitive wrist area warm when climbing.
Designed with a slim active fit the Shroud Jacket works brilliantly under hard shells to provide insulation in wet and cold conditions or just wear it as a lightweight comfortable jacket in kinder weather.
