About Us

Established in 1986, for over twenty years Trekitt has always been family owned and run. What started as a hobby has grown into a business we're proud of, and allows us to combine work and play. All our staff are actively involved in a wide range of outdoor activities, bringing experience in Walking, Climbing, Mountain Biking, Travelling and much more back to the shop. We have been active members of Longtown Mountain Rescue Team, and continue to support them every year at the Big Black Mountains Challenge.

We strongly believe in putting something back, and have been long-term sponsors of The Taste for Adventure Centre.

Opening Times 

The Trekitt shop is open from 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Saturday.

We do not open on Sundays or Bank Holidays, and we close the shop each day at 5.30pm, we value our free time and want to keep it that way.
