The Zephyros 4 Living is designed to allow you to do just that; to be able to live in it, whether it's a small amount of time or a long time, that's up to you. The tall design and massive porch area make it easy to walk around, cook, clean and store belongings in.
Standing at over 6ft, the tent will accompany anyone up to 6ft 2 who will be able to walk around freely inside without getting a sore lower back. The main entrance is accessible via the side of the tent, with two sleeping areas both allowing two people to sleep comfortably side by side and a large porch area placed in the middle to cook and generally live in. Two small doors are positioned either end of the tent leading into the sleeping areas for greater access if the porch is occupied with equipment.
With more height comes a greater risk of unstability, therefore Wild Country have added 16 total guy points, clamping the tent to the ground at just about every possible location. The two pole design either side of the door further increases the stability and overall sturdiness of the tent.
The flysheet is constructed from Stormtex P4000, a fabric developed to provide the best all round performance. It's constructed from Polyester with a durable water repellant coating and taped seams to offer 100% waterproofing in all conditions.
We highly recommend the use of a footprint with all tents to prolong their life, improve waterproofing and to keep the groundsheet clean. Admittedly it will add some weight to your pack but it’s worth it to protect your tent and to prolong its life.
The Zephyros 4 is an excellent camping and weekend away tent, with masses of space, a small pack size and a high quality construction. Pitching takes no longer than 10 minutes after a bit of practice and the reflective guy lines ensure no one ends up tripping during low light or in densely populated areas.
