Backpack, duffel or something in between? Splitpack is an ingenious design which allows you to whip out a set of shoulder straps to convert a simple looking duffel into a backpack, ready for any travel adventure or trip away for the weekend.
As with every Fjallraven product, it's designed to last longer than the user and can be passed down to future generations, this bag is no exception. The Splitpack is constructed entirely from Fjallraven's G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco, their heaviest and most durable fabric which is used on products designed to offer the longest lifespan without negatively affecting the usability. HeavyDuty Eco is also a 100% recycled fabric, using recycled polyester and recycled organic cotton. This makes the bag extremely environmentally friendly as well.
Access to the Splitpack is achieved via a thick, durable YKK zip that stretches across the top of the bag. Two large zipped mesh compartments are present inside the bag, separating dirty and clean clothes, or electronics from food and drink. Six small pockets are included for small essential items and for items that require quick access.
If you choose to use this as a backpack, the soft, lightly padded mesh shoulder straps provide long lasting comfort and breathability to use in warm climates. Further padding against the back increases the comfort when the splitpack is loaded up.
The main compartment can be locked away thanks to the large zips, while two external pockets provide an ideal space for a map or other quick to access travel essentials.
