This is the perfect size piece of luggage for all those short trips and lightweight travel, it meets international carry-on regulations and has a capacity of 38 litres. Eagle Creek have used their Bi-Tech material for this tough duffel, made from a PU coated polyester the fabric undergoes a special coating process to make it exceptionally durable and water resistant. This is a neat and simple design that works realy well for more civilised travel in urban areas, but don't be fooled, it'll cope with extreme travel just as well. Strong webbing straps act to compress and secure the load and all the strategic seams have been reinforced in high stress areas to ensure that this bad boy can take some serious abuse. To add further protection the sides of the Flatbed duffel are reinforced with foam to make sure your cargo isn't damaged and also to add some structure to the duffel for ease of packing. Entry into the single main compartment is via a "U" shaped gnarly zip with locakble pullers and there is a large mesh pocket under the main flap. You also get a small external zipped pocket for things that you need to access quickly, such as your liquids as you pass through airport security.
Designed to be pulled on it's tough oversized wheels the Flatbed duffel has been reinforced in key areas to ensure it can take the abuse normally associated with airline baggage handlers and world travel generally. The retractable handle is recessed to avoid damage when stowed, all the corners are reinforced, the back has tough runners and the wheel housing is reinforced to avoid damage when running over rough terrain.
