The Expanse Hauler does just that; it hauls 50L of kit around airports, train stations, city centres or just about anywhere you fancy. Starting with the carrying options, Eagle Creek have equipped the Hauler with a full backpack system which includes two padded shoulder straps which can be detached at the bottom of the pack and tucked away for clutter free travel. You're also given a chest strap with a built in emergency whistle, a large over-the-shoulder crossbody strap with a padded handle and several grab handles placed on the top, front and sides of the pack. Eagle Creek have used their own abrasion resistant materials for this tough bag, made from a mixture of high density polyesters with "Fabric Blocking Technology" that helps to hide scuffs and the strains of travel so your bag keeps its good looks for longer.
Storage wise, Eagle Creek have equipped the Hauler with a clever laptop sleeve which is positioned on the side of the bag; this allows you to safely and quickly access your laptop without needing to take the pack off. You get a large main pocket which can be opened right up to access all of your gear easily, a small exterior zipped organisation pocket which features enough room for a washbag, phone, keys or a camera when going through security in airports and an interior zipped mesh pocket to separate clean and dirty clothes. Lockable zippers keep the main compartment safe from unwanted visitors, while compression straps lined along both sides of the Hauler stop your kit rolling about during transit.
