The OVR Trunk is a big bag crafted for big adventures using Eagle Creek's toughest Bi-Tech water-resistant and 1000D fabrics. They even feature armoured plates in the high wear and tear areas making them pretty much bomb-proof. It is hard to find a piece of upright luggage that puts as much effort into durability as it does into useful features.
The wet/dry compartment is perfect for storing dirty clothes or wet muddy boots and even expands into the internal of the pack, making it big enough to house ski or snowboard boots. The internal cargo net compresses and secures the contents of the bag and can be removed and attached to the front of the bag for extra external storage. The “#10 Lockable zips” are puncture resistant, meaning cheeky pick pockets will find it hard to prize the zip teeth apart and by pass your lock (which can and does happen on cheaper alternatives just by using a simple biro).
Now, you can’t finish a day’s travelling without the need to wet your whistle, so Eagle Creek have included a bottle opener on their Porter Key, which you can find attached to their stowable Equipment Keeper. This Equipment Keeper is used to secure helmets and other bits onto the top of the bag making it a handy extra for climbers, bikers and skiers.
