The Spira 35 is a super lightweight, simple yet feature packed daypack with enough pockets and carrying comfort to please even the most critical of packs. It's ideal for all day use, ultra minimalist overnight trips and fast and light use over the mountains.
Beginning with the contact points, Haglofs feature their Interact Suspension Backsystem, a mesh covered, vented foam system which is flexible enough to pack down for travel use, yet supportive enough to carry 10kg of weight on long walks and mountainous excursions. This comfortable foam also features on the hipbelt and shoulder straps, ensuring all of your contact points are comfortable and supported.
As with all daypacks, pockets can make or break your descision. Starting at the bottom and making our way up, we have two stretchy mesh hipbelt pockets which are large enough for trail snacks, a smartphone or GPS, two large mesh stretch side pockets which will house up to a 1L water bottle, a hydration sleeve behind the backsystem, a large stretch mesh pocket on the front of the pack for a shell or map, a phone/sunglasses pocket on the top of the pack and of course your main 25 litres of storage which you can separate out using drybags.
Other features include attachments for walking poles and ice axes, a key clip in the top pocket, 10mm daisy chain loops on the front of the Spira to attach further kit and a flurocarbon-free durable water repellent coating to help repel water and dirt. Side compression straps help pull the weight closer to your back, while a ripstop outer fabric guarantees years of abuse.
If your search criteria includes a lightweight, simple, durable and highly comfortable daypack which will house your kit safely and efficiently in 35 litres of total capacity, the Spira is a brilliant choice.
