The outer fabric is a soft, flexible, tightly woven Matrix softshell fabric which resists wind and rain, provides lightweight warmth and breathes brilliantly when moving quickly. Behind this tough outer fabric is a much softer (almost fluffy) inner which feels great next to skin, wicks away sweat and adds a little warmth on those cold mountainous mornings. Being a softshell, it's also extremely flexible and moves with you while climbing, walking or carrying out a host of other mountainous activities.
As if this outer fabric wasn't breathable enough, Rab have added two large zipped pit zips to allow you to quickly dump large amounts of heat, or to ventilate yourself during strenous ascents. A fully adjustable hood with a reinforced brim keeps the rain off and adds a little extra warmth when stationary, while two harness-compatible pockets work seamlessly with or without a harness present; another chest pocket stores other quick to access items.
