Using a mix of four fabrics, the Tornado glove is techy, comfortable and fully featured for a wide range of mountainous activities. The bulk of the glove is constructed using Montane's super tough yet breathable Granite Stretch softshell fabric; this fabric provides a high level of water resistancy, wind resistancy and durability. When water does eventually pass through this outer fabric, a Gore-Tex membrane is the second line of defence and will keep your hands dry whatever the weather is doing. Primaloft is then layered inside to add warmth and insulation, while a brushed fleece inner wicks away sweat and keeps your hands comfortable. Improving durability is a goat leather palm and fingers - especially useful for ropework or via ferrata when your gloves take a lot of abuse.

The Men's specific fit of these gloves ensures extra width and a revised fit, while a pre-curved design makes gripping tools and ropes as unrestricted as possible. Lastly, touch screen compatible pads on the fingers and thumbs means you won't have to remove your gloves to use your phone or GPS in freezing environments.

The product I bought was competitively priced. The video demonstration of the product assisted me in my decision to purchase the item and was very informative, as it showed all of the features and the fit. I chose "click and collect" which was an efficient and quick process. I would definitely shop here again.
