What are the Hot Socks?

Rab's Hot Socks are warm, packable and lightweight insulated socks, perfect for cold environments. Insulated with PrimaLoft and surrounded by a Pertex Microlight fabric, they're super warm, water resistant and perfect for winter trips into the mountains.

What are the socks made of?

Insulation: Providing the insulation inside the socks is PrimaLoft Silver; this insulation surrounds the foot for an encompassing sense of warmth in even the coldest conditions. If this insulation happens to get wet, it will still retain the majority of its warmth and is durable enough for frequent stuffing into backpacks.

Outer fabric: Surrounding this insulation is a wind and water resistant Pertex Microlight fabric. On the bottom of the sock is a super tough 500D Cordura footpad to increase durability and longevity. A stretchy fleece ankle seals the sock to prevent warm air from escaping.

Are there any other features?

An included stuffsack allows you to pack the socks down to a fraction of their original size when travelling.

Summary

If you're travelling to a location cold enough to require a 'hut slipper' or simply suffer from cold extremeties, the hot socks are a life saver! They're tough, incredibly warm, lightweight and packable.

The product I bought was competitively priced. The video demonstration of the product assisted me in my decision to purchase the item and was very informative, as it showed all of the features and the fit. I chose "click and collect" which was an efficient and quick process. I would definitely shop here again.
