What are the Cygnus Shorts?
The Cygnus Shorts will become your best friends when climbing, walking and travelling in warm conditions. Made from a mix of eco-friendly nylon and polyester fabrics, they're soft, comfortable and super tough.
What are they made from?
The main bulk of the short is made from Vector Lite Eco, a nylon based fabric featuring recycled contents. This fabric is abrasion resistant, quick drying and weather resistant, making it perfect for general abuse while climbing and walking. The rest of the trouser is made from Apex Eco, a stretchy, comfortable, soft fabric with a Polygiene anti-odour coating. This fabric is used mainly in the huge waistband of the trouser, increasing comfort and wicking away excess sweat.
What are the features?
The main feature of the short is the overall comfort provided by the huge waistband; this waistband provides far more comfort and mobility than your standard set of shorts and works brilliantly while wearing a climbing harness or rucksack hipbelt. Other features include two deep front hand pockets, two rear pockets and a UPF 50+ rating to shield you from the sun's harmful UV rays on a long day out.
How do they fit?
The Cygnus Shorts are a very 'regular' fit; they feature a 15cm length in a UK size 10 and are comfortable and stretchy enough for most users to fit them.
