What are the Lizard Pants?
The ideal year-round mountain trouser. Featuring a super stretchy, durable water and wind resistant fabric, lots of useful pockets, a gusseted crotch and chafe free seams, the Lizard's are certainly well designed.
What are the Lizard Pants made of?
These hard wearing softshell trousers feature a mainly Nylon (polyamide) build for superior durability while trekking, mountaineering or even climbing. The other percentage of fabric used contains elastane to allow the trousers to stretch freely without restriction. The 4-way stretch design that Haglofs incorporated in the Lizard Pants makes them even more versatile and free moving.
Haglof's FlexAble fabric is used throughout the Lizard Pants with a durable water repellant coating applied to the whole trouser, meaning if and more likely when you do get caught out in the rain, your legs will stay dry for a good while before any moisture begins to creep through. Wind is also repelled with this coating, minimising wind chill while up at altitude.
What are the features?
The waistband is a lot more comfortable than you get with most trousers as it's completely flat, nice and wide and includes a removable belt so you don't end up looking like a grumpy teenager having bought the wrong size. Two hand warmer pockets guarantee warmth and safety for your hands when you're without gloves and a zipped leg pocket is ideal for bits and bobs while climbing as the harness won't restrict access.
How do the Lizard pants fit?
The Lizard pants have a 'regular fit' which means that they are cut to follow the shape of your legs, but are more relaxed than a 'snug' fit. This is to allow for easy manoeuvrability when biking, climbing and hiking.
