The Nair is a lightweight, stretchy breathble midlayer that effectively wicks sweat away during high output activities. It's also incredibly comfortable so is just a suited as a cozy every-day fleece.
What is it made of?
The Nair is made using Primaloft Silver and Primaloft Black- a Polyester and Polyurethane blend that is not only breathable, but also moves with your body. It's the ideal material to use in fleeces for activities that demand a bit more manouverabiliyu - like scrambling, ice climbing and nordic walking. This soft fabric also slides easily underneith waterproof jackets, meaning you don't get any bunching when your changing layers.
What are the features?
The Nair is sleek and simple in terms of design features - it features two zippered hand pockets to stash valuables and to keep your hands toastie, a YKK Vislon front zip and an elasticated hem and cuffs to seal out cold drafts.
How does it fit?
The Nair features Mammuts Athletic fit. This cut is meant to move in - it is cut to follow the contours of your body and has pre-shaped sleeves. This means that, even though the garment sits close to your body, it won't hinder or restrict your range of motion.
Where does it fit in the layering system?
This jacket has been designed as a midlayer - it works well under a Softshell or waterproof jacket on miserable days, but also makes a nice stand alone piece on cool, still days.
