90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. This is not a Trekitt operated service.

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Deuter Guide Lite?

The Guide has always been a go-to when mountaineering, climbing or scrambling, however Deuter have taken it a step further and reduced the weight even further to just over 1kg, all the while retaining the tough fabric and useful feature set that made the original bag so popular.

What is it made of?

The bulk of the bag is made from a super tough 100D Pocket Rip Mini fabric; this fabric features a ripstop construction to reduce the chance of holes developing over time and a durable water repellent coating to allow water and snow to bead off the surface. 

What is the backsystem?

The Guide Lite features Deuter's Alpine backsystem with a Guide X frame. The X frame provides a little rigidity and transfers the weight efficiently whilst still allowing a little flex for technical climbing, while pieces of low-profile foam sit either side of the backpanel, creating a 'chimney' effect up the centre where sweat can escape. Moving down, a thin yet wide hipbelt takes the weight of the pack off your shoulders and places it through your hips. Depending on personal preference, this hipbelt can be pinned back or removed completely for a more streamlined aesthetic. 

What are the features?

Side compression straps compress the load of the bag when not fully packed and pull the weight closer for a more secure fit; these straps can also be used to secure skis. Easy to use axe holders with metal hooks secure axes in place, while an SOS label allows you to write emergency details in case the worst happens. Pockets wise, you've got a large main compartment and a spacious lid pocket for items you need quick to hand... and that's it! Nice and simple.
