What is the Revolt 350?
As the name gives away slightly, the new Revolt features a massive 350 lumens of light, translating to 80 metres of range for your outdoor activities. The high power output, low weight and plethora of different lighting modes makes it perfect for trail running, climbing, backpacking, technical approaches, trekking and more.
What are the features?
The biggest update comes in the form of the power. Unlike previous models which have either featured rechargable AA batteries or standard alkaline alternatives, the Revolt now features a modern rechargable Lithium-ion battery; this produces a higher quality of lighting and is a more environmentally responsible option. Don't worry though, you can still bring along a spare set of AAA's if you're heading out for a few days and need a backup.
Just because it can push out 350 lumens of light, it doesn't mean you're limited to it. Black Diamond's Brightness Memory allows you to hold the main button down to dim the light to a chosen intensity, then when you next come to use the torch, it'll still be on that setting. If you just need to dim the torch quickly, tap once and it'll reduce the light to 35 lumens.
An IPX4 rating ensures the torch is unaffected by rain, however don't go dunking it into any rivers. To prevent the torch being turned on accidentally, Black Diamond equip it with their Digital Lockout feature. Lastly, a red lighting mode means you can still map read or cook without affecting your night vision.
