What is the Canada Wool Jacket?
Stay cosy and warm with one of the most reliable pieces of clothing you'll ever own. Use it as a midlayer for countryside walking, as an outer layer for everyday duties or to chop wood outside your log cabin... if that's something you'd like to do.
What is it made of?
The Canada Wool, unsurprisingly, is made primarily from wool with a little polyester thrown in. The wool is 100% recycled and is fully traceable back to its origin in Sweden. 90g/m2 is used throughout the body, while 60g/m2 is used in the arms to save a little weight where less warmth is needed. The wool also provides bucket loads of warmth and natural odour-resistance, while the recycled polyester adds durability and stretch. Fjallraven's own G-1000 Eco is used over the shoulders, part of the pockets and the elbows to increase durability even further, especially when wearing a pack.
What are the features?
You've got two hand pockets, one buttoned chest pocket, cuffs with press-buttons and a tall collar to seal in warmth on cold outings.
How does it fit?
The Canada Wool features a relaxed, loose fit throughout. The chest is a little more snug than the waist, while the sleeves are nice and long so you can tuck your hands in if you forget your gloves.
Where does it fit in the layering system?
Despite its everyday intentions, the Canada Wool can be used as a super warm midlayer on less-arduous walks, or as an outer layer when the air is still.
