What is the Misfit 27?

Featuring 27 litres of space, a comfortable backsystem and masses of internal organisation, the Misfit is ideal for everything from a couple of hours at the wall to a full day at the crag. If you need a little more space, consider the Outcast.

What is it made of?

It uses one of the toughest fabrics we've seen on a rucksack before, an 840D Ballistic Nylon with a water-resistant HydroShield coating. This fabric is equipped to deal with all the abuse you can hurl at it over the years and will even keep your kit dry in light showers.

What is the backsystem?

The Misfit uses Lowe Alpine's TRIFLEX backsystem. It features soft, breathable foam throughout the back and shoulders with channels cut out to circulate air. Nice and simple, but incredibly effective!

What are the features?

Access to the bag is via a large U-shaped zip on the front which allows you to get to all of your kit without emptying anything out. External compression straps pull the load closer to your back and stop items inside rolling about during transit, while two external pockets store items such as guide books or clip-sticks. Internally, you've got a security pocket, a gear loop, a mesh divider and a useful key clip. Other features include an SOS panel in case the worst should happen, a removable waist belt to keep the pack close to you when you're moving, a sternum strap with emergency whistle and large zip pulls which can be used easily with bulky gloves.
