What is the Edge 18?
The Edge 18 is the king of versatility. Need a pack for the commute to work but also weekend adventures into the hills? Here's the answer! It contains all the essential features to allow you to organise and protect your kit when going about your daily duties, yet works just as well when heading off into the countryside thanks to the comfortable back system and tough fabrics.
What is it made of?
The Edge is made from an ultra-tough 420D polyester throughout. This fabric is PFC free, durable, and abrasion-resistant to withstand long days being pushed to its limits in the mountains. PFC free fabrics don't use any chemicals that cause harm to the environment, making it a much more sustainable piece than many daypacks on the market!
What is the back system?
The Edge uses Lowe's Air Contour back system. It features thick, comfortable sections of foam covered with mesh; this prevents items jabbing you in the back but also creates air gaps between the foam, allowing warm air to escape and cool air to circulate. A waistbelt keeps the pack close to you when commuting or walking and a sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps in place.
What are its features?
The Edge is jam-packed with features to make it suitable for virtually any outdoor activity. Pockets wise, you've got a zipped top pocket for essentials, a front zipped pocket, side stretchy bottle pockets and an internal security pocket with a key clip. Other features include pole attachment points, side compression straps to keep the Edge stable if not fully packed, a reflective bike-light loop and a sleeve for a hydration system.
