What is the Agile 12?
The Agile 12 is a new breed of rucksack which can be used for a wide variety of different activities. Wear it while walking, running, scrambling, biking... the list goes on!
What is it made of?
The majority of the pack is made from a super tough yet lightweight 100D Treiplerip nylon, while the inside and backpanel are made from softer polyester fabrics. All outer fabrics are treated with a durable water repellent coating to withstand light rain (this doesn't make it waterproof).
Which backsystem does it use?
The Agile uses Salomon's 3D Comfort system. This system is more similar to a traditional running pack than a walking pack; the shoulder straps and hipbelt are linked to wrap around your body, enabling it to follow the movements of your body. It sits fairly high on your back and features a grippy mesh on all contact areas to avoid excessive movement. EVA foam lines the shoulder straps, the hipbelt and the backpanel for additional comfort over longer durations.
What are its features?
Two included 500ml softflasks which live in the front of the shoulder straps make it easy to hydrate on the go, however, if you'd prefer to use a hydration system, a 1.5L bladder will fit inside. Storage-wise, 1 internal zipped pocket provides a handy space for valuables, two front stretch pockets store spare layers or items you need to get to quickly while on the trail and two expandable side pockets store extra bottles, gloves or hats. If you simply can't make do with all of those storage options, there's an elasticated gear carrier for items which won't fit inside, a helmet holder and a walking pole holder.
