What is the Rho LT?
Soft, stretchy and moisture-wicking, the Rho LT Hoody is a next to skin baselayer that provides warmth, comfort and thermal regulation for lower output activities in cool temperatures.
What is it made of?
Constructed using a lightweight Torrent 190, the Rho wicks away sweat and regulates your body temperature, but at the same time provides warmth and comfort when you are out in cold temperatures. Unlike wool, this fabric will also stay warm when wet, so even if it gets drenched in sweat or rain it will retain enough warmth to keep you safe and comfortable. As well as being an excellent piece for regulating temperature, the incredibly stretchy fabric is soft next to skin and won't restrict or cause discomfort during all-day use. A Polygiene coating is finally added to this fabric to prevent the fabric from smelling over prolonged use.
What are the features?
You've got a stretchy close-fitting hood that can be used either as a balaclava, a neck warmer or a hood to pop under your climbing helmet. Flatlock seams prevent the baselayer chafing during use, while a handy chest pocket stores your phone, keys or other small bits and bobs.
How does it fit?
The design of the Rho optimises Arc'teryx's 'next to skin' fit and has articulated patterning and gusseted underarms to add further freedom of movement and less restriction.
Where does it fit in the layering system?
The Rho can either be used as a warm baselayer or a lightweight midlayer. The soft inner fabric and stretchy nature of this piece mean it's just as comfortable for both.
