What are the Alpine Mission Gloves?
The Alpine Mission Gloves are designed primarily with cold, unforgiving mountainous conditions in mind. They offer incredible amounts of warmth and protection without compromising heavily on comfort and dexterity.
What are they made of?
Outer fabric(s): Providing protection and weather resistance is a tough Granite Stretch Thermal softshell fabric — this fabrics offers high amounts of water, wind and abrasion resistance, yet stretches with your hand and never feels restrictive. Goat leather reinforcements are added to the palm, fingers and knuckles to increase durability even further when handling tools/ropes.
Membrane: Inside the glove you'll find a fully wateproof, windproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, keeping your hands warm and dry in harsh winter conditions.
Insulation: Providing the bulk of the warmth inside the glove is a recycled PrimaLoft Gold insulation. As if this doesn't offer enough warmth, a pile fleece lining adds extra insulation and increases comfort next to skin.
What are the features?
An elasticated wrist combined with an adjustable cuff adjustment seals in warmth and prevents snow and other debris entering the glove when climbing. A loop on the middle finger of each glove allows you to clip them to a carabiner when not in use. A pre-curved design follows the natural position of your hand when relaxed.
