90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. This is not a Trekitt operated service.

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Outpost Jacket?

The Outpost combines the classic, bombproof pile fleece with the modern Matrix softshell fabric to offer a fleece that can be used for a wide range of activities, from mountain walking and climbing to popping into town and lounging around the house. 

What is it made of?

The main bulk of the Outpost is made from Polartec's 300 high-pile shearling fleece. This fabric is super soft yet incredibly durable and warm, making it ideal as a midlayer in super cold conditions or an outer layer when high wind and rain isn't a threat. Rab overlay their Matrix softshell fabric on the shoulders, upper back and chest for greater weather-resistance and durability (for example, when wearing a pack). 

What are its features?

There are two zipped hand pockets, one zipped chest pocket and an elasticated hem, cuffs and hood. The beauty of the Outpost is its simplicity and durability, so it isn't loaded with features. 

Where does it fit in the layering system?

It can either be used as a super-warm midlayer with a shell/softshell over the top or as an outer layer when simply using it for everyday duties.

1Chest

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

2Waist

Measure around your natural waist as show in the diagram

3Inseam

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
