90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the VR Ridgeline Jacket?

The VR Ridgeline is a lightweight softshell jacket that has been designed to maximise airflow on energetic hikes, highly physical mountain recreation and fast-paced scrambles.

What is the VR Ridgeline Jacket made from?

The Ridgeline is made using Rab’s Vapour-Rise construction, providing the ideal active balance between wind resistance and air permeability.

The outer fabric is built from lightweight Pertex Quantum Air, a wind-resistant and highly breathable outer material that is perfect for maximising airflow when moving at pace in the mountains. In combination with the highly breathable outer, the jacket also features a body-mapped combination of fast-wicking brushed polyester insulation and a mesh lining for extra comfort. The outer fabric has been treated with a DWR for added weatherproofing.

What are the features?

To maintain it’s place as the lightest jacket in the VR range, Rab has pared back the feature-set of the VR Ridgeline over its siblings. It features a shaped collar for an improved fit with helmets. A single chest pocket for valuables, secured behind a YKK zip, a full-length YKK front zip, along with an adjustable hem and lightweight elasticated cuffs

How does VR Ridgeline fit?

Unlike the other items in Rab’s Vapour-Rise range, the Ridgeline offers a slim fit, compared to the regular fit on the Summit and Alpine. This means the overall fit of the jacket is slimmer, leaving less room under the jacket for multiple layers. The slim fit has been used here because the VR Ridgeline is intended to be used when moving at a faster pace or in more temperate conditions where the extra layers wouldn’t be needed and a trimmer body fit is more beneficial.

Where does this fit in the layering system?

Thanks to its incredible breathability, the VR Ridgeline can either be used as a super-breathable outer layer when moving quickly or a mid-layer when wearing a shell over the top when conditions take a turn for the worst.

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

2Waist

Measure around your natural waist as show in the diagram

3Inseam

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
