Osprey Farpoint 55 Volcanic Grey

Season:Sale

Brand:Osprey

Code:OSFP55VG

The Farpoint 55 has been upgraded for 2016 and now features an improved die-cut SpacerMesh carrying harness and tougher, lighter fabrics. The Farpoint 55 is the perfect lightweight multi-day trip luggage, it isn't out of place in airports and on city breaks and works perfectly for more adventurous trips when you may have to haul your luggage on your back to reach your destination. The detachable 13 litre day pack is useful when going out for day trips or can be suspended from the front of the shoulder straps for easy access to travel documents and all that stuff you seem to need when travelling. This additional pack is not just an afterthought but functions well as an independent pack for days out; it features internal organiser pockets, hydration sleeve, external zip pocket and mesh bottle pockets.

Osprey have greatly improved the carrying harness for 2016 with die-cut SpacerMesh materials to improve ventilation and comfort. The whole harness, hipbelt and shoulder straps, can be zipped away if you are using the Farpoint  suitcase style to avoid the straps getting tangled or trapped. Carrying comfort is also helped by the internal lightweight peripheral frame that transfers the weight effectively to the hips and stabilises the load even if the pack is half full.

The main pack has a large single compartment which is well organized with internal mesh pockets and dual retention straps to keep the contents under control while the external StraightJacket compression system really does work and can flatten a half full Farpoint for easier transportation or storage. Padded top and side handles provide comfortable and versatile carrying options.

The Farpoint 55 will regiment your packing to the absolute minimum keeping the weight down and the carry more comfortable and is perfect for multi-day trips and lightweight travel.
