The Keb Agile uses less G-1000 and more stretch fabric, making it lighter, more flexible and better suited to faster-paced hiking or scrambling while still remaining highly durable.

No. G-1000 is not fully waterproof, so it won’t replace a waterproof jacket or overtrousers during prolonged rain. However, you can treat it with Greenland Wax. It improves its resistance to light showers and damp conditions, while its tightly woven fabric naturally blocks much of the wind.
Apply Greenland Wax to your G-1000 garment to boost its resistance to wind and light rain. Many hikers increase the amount of wax during winter for extra protection, then remove some during summer to improve breathability. It’s one of the reasons G-1000 clothing is so versatile.
