The Cholatse from Lowe Alpine is a lightweight, extremely comfortable bag that has been packed full of very useful features designed to meet the needs of the hut-to-hut style trekker and adventure traveller.
Made from a robust 210 denier nylon fabric with an eye-catching hexagonal weave pattern this pack will not only withstand a beating, it will look good whilst doing so. The comfortable air-mesh back-system is fully adjustable, just peel apart the Velcro panels, adjust to the desired length and press them back together.
The padded adaptive fit hipbelt has forward-pull webbing adjustments that enables you easily to get the right tension allowing for comfortable and effective weight transfer. Volume wise, the Cholatse is a 65 litre pack that can expand to 75 thanks to the extra gusset that synches away when not need within the normal bag closure.
As all top quality trekking and expedition packs these days the Cholatse is hydration pack compatible, has the ability to stow walking poles, ice/walking axe and stretch mesh pockets for water bottle storage.
The unique travel features include a lower compartment which is useful for separating your sleeping rig from your packs main contents. There is a large front opening that make it quick and easy to get at your kit which saved emptying everything out onto the floor, and the SOS panel hidden under the lid tells you exactly what to do if you get into a spot of bother.
