What is the Abisko Hike Shirt?
It's a functional, lightweight, long-sleeved hiking shirt designed to give you comfortable protection in humid environments. What is it made of?
Fjallraven has used recycled polyester ripstop to construct the shirt, ensuring it has all the performance properties you need with a lesser impact on the environment.
This material feels soft against the skin and can wick away moisture effectively to keep you feeling fresh, even when working up a sweat. It's slightly wind resistant, quick drying and provides a lighter alternative to your regular flannel shirt.
What are the features?
The packability of this fabric makes it fantastic for slipping into a backpack or kit bag as an emergency summer layer without taking up too much room.
It has a relaxed fit that feels comfortable to wear over a baselayer if you wish to layer up. The collar can also be folded up and secured with a button to give you extra neck protection if you've forgotten your suncream.
A discreet chest pocket is ideal for small valuables like car keys or a mobile phone. The pocket is fastened with a zipper and is lined with mesh which helps to draw in extra airflow when left open.
