What are the G14 Crampons?
They're 12-point crampons designed for technical mountaineering adventures and advanced expeditions. They offer maximum grip on snow and ice and have a reliable, durable construction.
What are they made of?
The G14s are made of steel and plastic, offering high durability to withstand impact from solid ice and a little flexibility to accommodate different types of footwear.
What are their features?
As previously mentioned, these crampons have 12 points in total. The two points are the front are hot-forged, replaceable and can be mounted in both bi-point and mono-point configurations to suit your activity. Hot-forging gives the steel a 3D shape to improve penetration on ice and support. These points can also be replaced if they get worn out.
The central bar on these crampons is adjustable to accommodate different boot sizes.
The G10's are also equipped with Grivel's proactive Antibott in the front and the rear. Antibott is designed to stop snow from building up underneath the foot when the crampon is being worn. This can be extremely dangerous in terms of stability and overall safety, preventing the points from biting the ground and sticking.
