What are the features?The Dual-beam configuration on the Onsight provides the two main lighting modes that climbers, mountaineers and mountain walkers need most when out on technical terrain.
The Climbing mode illuminates the holds or trails directly in front of you with 300 lumens of wide evenly dispersed light.
The Route Finding mode adds a powerful, narrow, long-distance beam and increases the total max output to 375 lumens. You won't miss a footing or hold with this headtorch!
The Onsight comprises of Black Diamonds Dual PowerTap technology. This easy-to-use interface is designed to provide the best light output for your desired activity. By touching either the right or left side of the front housing the Onsight will change from Climbing mode to Route finding mode in seconds.
Just when you thought the Onsight couldn’t get any better it is also fully waterproof and dustproof (rated to IPX67) allowing use in the most hostile and extreme environments. You can even submerge the Onsight down to 1 metre for 30 minutes without the need for further maintenance after submersion.
Providing versatility when you’re out for long periods without a recharge point, the Onsight is Dual-Fuel compatible and can be powered with either Black Diamonds rechargeable BD 1800 Li-ion battery or with three standard AAA batteries (Provided). It also has a digital lockout feature safeguarding against accidental use when stored in your pack or pocket. The Onsight comprises a perforated elastic headband, providing maximum comfort, breathability and is super lightweight. The headlamp has Black Diamonds Brightness Memory feature, which allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting to the default, full power setting. All this for only 135g!
