What are the Ridge Flex WP Shoes?

What are they made of?
The upper is made with environmentally preferred premium leather, sourced from an LWG-certified tannery. Confused? No stress. An LWG certification comes from the Leather Working Group (LWG), which is working to provide transparency and accountability within the leather supply chain to create a more sustainable process. The certification evaluates the tannery's environmental and social performance and identifies how its operation could be improved.
Performance mesh offers extra ventilation and built-in KEEN.DRY technology is what keeps the water out. It's a proprietary waterproof, breathable membrane allows vapour to get out without letting water in.
Materials are treated with a. Eco Anti-Odour control treatments and PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) that encourages water to bead off the face of the fabric instead of soaking in. PFC-free treatments are more eco-friendly than conventional treatments as they don't contain per-fluorinated chemicals that harm the environment.
A compression-moulded EVA midsole provides underfoot cushioning and helps to protect from impact against rock and solid ground.
The Keen.All-Terrain rubber outsole provides high traction and grip on different terrain, whether wet rock or soft mud, making these shoes the perfect all-rounder for various adventures.
You'll be grateful for the quick-dry lining inside on more intense days or in warmer weather - it'll help to prevent that moist, sweaty feeling after a long day. Finally, insoles are made from PU to provide long lasting comfort.
What are their features?
These shoes feature a speed-lace webbing system that helps them wrap closer around the foot comfortably, enhancing their fit to prevent your feet from wobbling inside, allowing you to feel more stable in rugged terrain.
Stability is reinforced through the heel-capture system, and a built-in stability shank under the centre of the foot delivers lightweight support without hindering comfort or flexibility.
Rubber tips are abrasion resistant and add durability to protect the toes from bumps and scrapes on rocks when scrambling or tackling rocky environments.
