What is the S/F Sleep Poncho?
It's a multifunctional poncho that can be used as a sleeping quilt when camping or worn as an insulating poncho, so you don't need to pack an extra warm jacket for your bikepacking trip. It's part of the exciting Specialized Fjallraven collaboration, created for biking and hiking adventures.
What is it made from?
The shell fabric is made from durable 20D recycled rip-stop nylon that is treated with fluorocarbon-free impregnation for water resistance without the use of any harmful forever chemicals.
The soft recycled nylon taffeta lining provides close-to-skin comfort, whilst the recycled hollow fibre polyester insulation efficiently traps warm air to keep you comfortable and cosy when needed.
The stuffsack is made from recycled materials and can be used for repairs, keeping your trusty Sleep Poncho in use for many years to come.
What are its features?
When worn, the front kangaroo hand-warming pocket provides a cosy refuge for cold hands after a long day on the bike. It also makes for an easy-access home for your phone while relaxing at the campsite.
An adjustable draft collar helps to protect you from cold winds and reduces heat loss.
The zippered sides allow you to wear the poncho loose or zipped tight for versatile use when bikepacking or relaxing in the evening. When worn open, the adjustable straps secure the poncho, allowing you to move freely when cooking and sorting your kit out without it getting in the way.
The side zips allow you to quickly convert the Sleep Poncho into a cosy sleeping bag for the night, with ample room for fidgety sleepers and comfort when camping in more humid conditions.
