What is the Ratio Rock 26?
Designed by climbers, for climbers, the Ratio Rock is the ideal go-to crag pack for those who have busy lifestyles and often find themselves transitioning from work to the wall. It is comfortable enough for walk-ins or after work commutes, as well as is durable and efficient for organising clothes, climbing gear and rope.
What is it made from?
The main fabric used on the Ratio Rock is the RAPTOR Balance Eco, a tough abrasion-resistant fabric that is 100% recycled. Strong fabrics eliminate the chances of climbing gear snagging the material, giving it a longer lifespan and making it one of the most trustworthy packs in your collection.
Montane has used HALO fabric to line inside the pack, which is exceptionally lightweight and finishes off the inside neatly.
What are the features?
There is a soft padded back panel which adds comfort when commuting. This padding will also help to eliminate the discomfort that can be experienced when gear digs into the pack once loaded. The HDPE internal stiffener will maintain the shape of the pack, providing a good round level of protection and balance, whilst keeping the pack looking nice and smart.
On the topic of protection and comfort, there is also a Montane off-centre Clip’N’Go chest harness to provide some extra security, and a removable webbing waist belt which is super handy for those who are looking to de-bulk and take off some extra weight.
The storage organisation of the Ratio Rock 26 is what makes it so efficient to use. The bucket-style main compartment and separate base compartment make it easy to separate your clothing and kit, so you don’t have to worry about dirtying your work get-up when it’s time for some post-shift action on the rock.
An internal laptop sleeve (15.6 inch) is perfect for those who are heading straight to the climbing gym after work. Plenty of pockets offer lots of options, including a side wand pocket and an internal zipped security pocket that has a key clip, which keeps your keys and wallet safe during your session. To compress everything down, pull the straps on the outside of the pack taught and pull the load in.
For a 26 litre capacity, the Ratio Rock certainly packs a punch!
