What is the AirZone Trail ND28?
Whether hill walking, hiking or trekking, the ND28 is ideal for safely storing and organising your belongings to keep prepared for whatever your adventure throws at you. It offers 28 litres of space and is exceptionally durable to endure rugged mountain terrain and regular use.
What is it made of?
The AirZone Trail ND28 comprises 330D Striped Dobby Nylon, which is 50% recycled. Though recycled, it still offers fantastic performance and is highly durable to take on bumps and scrapes from rocks and rough surfaces. The bag is lined with lightweight polyester that gives the inside a smart, smooth finish that helps to keep items inside from getting scratched.
Which backsystem does it use?
This pack uses the AirZone™ carry system, developed with a lighter construction and updated features to optimise comfort and ventilation. This carry system provides a channel that allows heat to escape and provides a ventilation space between the shoulders to stop heat and sweat build-up.
The harness's surface area is reduced to minimise contact points, while the harness and the hipbelt are both constructed with durable, lightweight foam to offer long-term performance and comfort.
What are its features?
Lowe Alpine has designed this pack with women's specific sizing to give it a more accurate fit on the female frame for enhanced performance and comfort.
The hipbelt can be adjusted with a smooth, easy-to-use forward-pull system and has zippered pockets that are ideal for storing snacks, energy gels or a small compass.
Stretch mesh water bottle side pockets help keep chunky bottles from leaking all over your belongings whilst leaving space in the main compartment for everything else you need. If you prefer to use hydration bladders, this pack is hydration-compatible and will take a bladder up to 3 litres.
Any walking pole fans here are in for a treat! This pack comes with TipGripper pole attachments, designed to keep your poles out of the way and safe when they're not being used, alongside a bungee retention system, handy for attaching bulkier items to the outside of the bag.
Dual-zipped side bellowed pockets allow you to increase the storage capacity if you're packing bulkier items or various layers for warmth.
Upper and lower compression straps allow you to cinch in any dead space to stop belongings from wobbling around inside and setting you off balance or from making annoying noises as you walk.
The zipped top pocket offers quick and easy access, ideal for storing a first aid kit that you might need to get to in a rush. There's also an under-lid zipped pocket that provides a little more security for valuables such as a mobile phone, keys or wallet.
A whistle is built into the sternum strap, allowing you to quickly signal for attention in an emergency.
