What is the Lithium 25L?
It's a versatile backpack that provides 25 litres of storage for multi-activity mountain days and short but demanding tours. The Lithium pack makes the perfect companion for hiking, trekking, travelling or light mountaineering.
What is it made of?
The pack is constructed using a combination of 100D recycled Robic Nylon and 210D recycled Nylon Dragon, which has excellent wear resistance, strength and hardiness to tackle tough days in rough, tricky terrain when the weather is challenging. The panels of 210D nylon are placed on the base of the pack for added reinforcement where it's needed most.
The material is PFC free, making it much more sustainable than many standard fabrics on the market - as well as being recycled! PFC free means that no chemicals that would cause harm to the environment were used during the production process, making it a much cleaner method of manufacture.
What backsystem does it use?
The Lithium 25 uses a CONTACT U-Frame™ to improve load transfer, taking uncomfortable pressure off your back and helping the pack to balance more evenly. By doing this, the risk of injury is reduced and you're also less likely to be left with an achy back at the end of the day.
The CONTACT U-Frame™ also provides ample freedom of movement, allowing you to move without restriction on steep inclines and for more technical manoeuvres.
The carry system is well padded and ventilated for ultimate comfort on the trails. Shoulder pads are built from super lightweight, highly breathable EVA foam. The backpanel uses 3D EVA foam with air channels for maximum airflow around the pack's most significant contact point, so you can wave goodbye to nasty sweat patches. Lateral compression straps help reduce the bulk of the load when the bag isn't full, helping to stop contents inside from wriggling around and putting you off balance as you're on the move.
The entire carrying system of this pack is tailored to the female anatomy, meaning it'll fit the female frame more precisely by using the correct dimensions.
What are its features?
For storage, there's a main zip compartment alongside a large front zipper pocket and an additional large front stretch pocket for carrying bulky items like a map or extra layer. A smaller zipped pouch with a built-in key pocket keeps your valuables safe when out in the hills.
Two mesh side pockets make room for airing out damp bits of kit or can hold water bottles instead of having them take up all the space inside the pack... In simple terms, this pack has a shed load of pockets!
The hipbelt also offers plenty of storage for smaller items you may want to access quickly without taking the whole pack off - a fold-out cellphone pocket and a small zip pocket, to be precise. These pockets are perfect for stowing away a cheeky trail snack or energy gels, alongside your mobile or a GPS for longer adventures.
Speaking of the hipbelt, it's constructed in a forward pull style for easy adjustment when the pack is mounted. It's padded and detachable, a bonus for those who might prioritise weight or simply for those who don't like using a hipbelt.
If you're a fan of trekking poles, you're in luck! The Lithium has specialised trekking pole attachments to carry poles when they're not in use. The integrated, detachable rain cover offers some built-in protection which is convenient and a little more wallet friendly, as there is no need to splash the cash on an additional cover.
The Lithium is hydration compatible, so it works well for longer hikes and those who prefer hydration systems instead of using bottles.
