What is the Helium Quilt?
The Helium Quilt is a high quality summer weight quilt, insulated with Pure Duck Down. This quilt is perfect for tarp camping, summer backpacking adventures or even as a lightweight travel blanket.
What is it made of?
This quilt is constructed using Pure Duck Down insulation, Supersoft™ recycled lining and an outer shell of 100% recycled Helium™ 20D, with a PFC free durable water repellent (DWR). PFC free finishes are much more sustainable than regular treatments as they do not use chemicals harmful to the environment - a win for the more eco-conscious adventurer!
Insulation: 90-10 Pure Duck Down is used to fill and insulate the quilt, with a minimum fill power of 700. The down in this product also comes from a Down Codex® Audited Source, making it a much more ethical and sustainable option than lesser quality down on the market.

Fill power - Fill power measures the warmth and efficiency of the down, alongside its ability to loft/fluff up. A rating of 700 fill power means that 1oz of this down fills 700 cubic inches of space when fully lofted.
Down Codex® Audited Source - Having a Down Codex® Audited Source stamp indicates that there was no unnecessary harm caused to ducks and geese when collecting the down and that it came from an ethical, traceable source.
Lining: 100 Recycled Supersoft™ 20D with PFC free DWR - Mountain Equipment have chosen Supersoft™ lining for its breathability and durability. This high quality material is soft to touch, yet weighing in at just 49g/m².
Outer: 100% Recycled Helium™ 20D - Helium™ fabrics are perfect for those who have weight and bulk at the forefront of their concerns. Their densely woven structure and fine denier yarns create a downproof, tear resistant and highly breathable layer with light water resistance.
What are its features?
This lightweight quilt has a stitch-through construction throughout, helping to spread the down insulation evenly for a comfortable feel and balanced level of coverage. There are dual tether drawcords and snap closures at the top and bottom to cinch in and secure the quilt, helping users feel super snug and cosy.
A lightweight stuffsack is included for on-the-go carry alongside a storage cube for at-home storage. Literally stuffing the quilt into the stuffsack will help the insulation stay even by creating random scrunches when compact. This prevents cold spots that form if the quilt were to be folded for long periods. A cube for home storage allows the down to stay lofted and fluffy when not in use, helping to extend the lifespan of the quilt and allow maximum performance.
