What is it made from?
Insulation: This sleeping bag is filled with 500g of 650 fill power duck down that is RDS certified for maximum loft (fluffiness) and insulation.
This duck down is treated with Marmot's Down Defender hydrophobic technology. This fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent treatment adds light water resistance to the down itself, allowing it to loft in damp conditions. Down treated with this hydrophobic technology stays drier 10x longer, maintains 150% more loft in damp conditions and dries 30% faster than untreated down.

Fill power: Fill power measures the warmth and efficiency of the down, alongside its ability to loft (fluff up). A rating of 650 fill power means that 1oz of this down fills 650 cubic inches of space when fully lofted.
RDS: The Responsible Down Standard ensures that down is sourced from happy birds who haven't been plucked and have been well cared for. Marmot only uses RDS-certified down in their products to help ensure the humane treatment of animals from Gosling to the end product.
Hydrophobic: Hydrophobic down dries out and lofts more quickly than untreated down, resisting moisture from sweat and condensation that may build up when sleeping. Fluorocarbon-free Hydrophobic finishes don't use harmful chemicals that cause damage to the environment, an excellent feature for more eco-conscious adventurers.
Outer fabric and lining: This sleeping bag's outer shell and lining are made from 100% recycled nylon ripstop fabric for a durable finish, meaning you can use and enjoy your kit for longer.

It has been created in a classic mummy shape for the most thermally efficient insulation-to-weight ratio. Although some people can feel a little restricted in a mummy bag, Marmot has cleverly designed this one to provide a roomier fit around the head, shoulders and feet. This offers the comfort of a rectangular bag without the added weight and provides plenty of space for those who like to sleep in different positions, making it ideal for fidgety sleepers.
A handy foot box zipper allows room for you to spread out, simply unzip it for more space or keep it zipped for better heat retention if you get cold feet.
This practical sleeping bag features 3/4 length dual-side zippers for easy access in and out. They allow you to sit up easily to cook or read, staying warm and cosy in colder conditions. There is also an internal zipped stash pocket, ideal for popping your phone and other small essentials, especially useful when sleeping in a compact tent, where space is at a premium.
For temperature regulation, this bag features unique oversized draft tubes that Marmot call 'hot wings'. With the sides unzipped and the hot wings down, they act as a blanket-like extension allowing you to easily regulate the right amount of heat in your bag without letting all of it escape. This warm and practical sleeping bag includes a stuff and storage sack to pack it down and take on your travels easily. Stuff sacks are literally meant to be stuffed! So do your best to cram your sleeping bag inside instead of neatly folding the bag away. This random stuffing helps reduce folds and creases in the down, preventing cold spots and gaps from developing.
