What is the Farpoint 40?
The Osprey Farpoint 40 is a functional travel rucksack with a strategic design to efficiently store and carry items. A specialised adjustable backsystem allows maximum comfort to the wearer, with extra breathability and ventilation, making this a sure favourite for shorter adventures.
What is it made of?
Using GRS-certified recycled materials, Osprey has constructed the pack with 450D Polyester Twist, which is tough and durable enough to take on the hustle and bustle of long excursions. Fabric is treated in PFC/PFAS free DWR to create a dirt and water repellent barrier, keeping your load clean and dry.

Osprey's AirScape™ backpanel prioritises comfort and stability using its signature ventilation technology, a feature often used on more technical packs.

What are its features?
Multiple internal organisation pockets help you keep various essentials in order, alongside the main compartment to hold the bulky bits like extra clothing. A direct access backpanel-mounted laptop sleeve means you can easily access your laptop without unloading the whole bag – an ideal feature if you need to catch up on some emails at the airport on a business or work trip.
A stretch-mesh hipbelt pocket gives you easy access to smaller items such as your wallet, phone or a cheeky snack.
The StraightJacket™ compression system prevents items from moving around inside the pack, also helping to reduce the overall size of the bag if it isn't fully loaded. The Stretch-mesh harness and hipbelt allow the bag to fit as snugly to the body as possible, evenly distributing weight across the body. Using mesh across the harness and hipbelt allows extra ventilation in contact points to reduce that feeling of stickiness in warmer climates. The AirScape™ backpanel increases ventilation for extra breathability.
