What is the Farpoint 55?
The Osprey Farpoint 55 is much more than just a travel bag. It has a detachable daysack which means the Farpoint 55 serves as a 2 in 1 pack, perfect for those on a long escape, wanting to explore each day with less to carry. A specialised adjustable backsystem allows maximum comfort to the wearer, with extra breathability and ventilation.
What is it made of?
Using GRS-certified recycled materials, Osprey has constructed the pack with 450D Polyester Twist, which is tough and durable enough to take on the hustle and bustle of long excursions. Fabric is treated in PFC/PFAS free DWR to create a dirt and water repellent barrier, keeping your load clean and dry.

What are its features?
Multiple internal organisation pockets help you keep various essentials in order, alongside the main compartment to hold the bulky bits like extra clothing.
The detachable Farpoint daypack is a small rucksack in itself, which has its own internal storage pockets, alongside an external zip pocket and mesh water bottle pockets on the side. Separate the daypack and wear it alone for shorter trips, or you can keep it attached to the main bag to keep any extra load secure. A stretch-mesh hipbelt pocket gives you easy access to smaller items such as your wallet, phone or a cheeky snack.
The StraightJacket™ compression system prevents items from moving around inside the pack, also helping to reduce the overall size of the bag if it isn't fully loaded. The Stretch-mesh harness and hipbelt allow the bag to sit as snugly to the body as possible, evenly distributing weight across the body. The AirScape™ backpanel increases ventilation for extra breathability.
