What is the Cloudburst 25?
It's a super lightweight waterproof backpack made of recycled, bluesign® approved materials that gives you all the performance and functionality with a lesser impact on the environment. The Cloudburst 25 is versatile enough to suit a range of activities, whether trekking in the mountains, travelling across Europe or even running a few errands nearer to home.
What is it made of?
The outer face comprises PU coated 70D taffeta nylon, which is highly robust and tear resistant to withstand harsh bumps and scrapes in rugged terrain. The PU coating gives the already resistant material its waterproof properties, with a total of a 7000mm HH - if you're unsure, Hydrostatic Head (HH) is how waterproofness is measured, and 7k is pretty darn good for a backpack!
Materials are recycled, PFC-free (PFC's are harmful per-fluorinated chemicals) and bluesign® approved to ensure they are safe for workers, consumers and the environment.
An EVA foam back panel offers cushioning and support when you wear it. It's durable and helps prevent items inside the pack from digging in without adding too much weight and bulk.
What are its features?
Seam taping enhances the waterproofness of the bag, ensuring that water cannot seep through the seams from the inside.
The Cloudburst 25 is a single-compartment pack, so it's super easy to load up as everything fits into one place, minimising weight by cutting out excessive features and organisational options. This simple design not only makes it great as a main backpack but also as an additional carry for longer adventures and expeditions where one kit bag just doesn't cut it.
It has a roll-top closure that helps to securely seal out nasty weather and provides quick access when needed.
A shock cord holder on the exterior gives you additional carry options for bulkier items, like a climbing helmet, that would take up too much room inside.
Shoulder straps are made with lightweight mesh that is quick drying, highly breathable and comfy - it helps prevent sweat from building up at contact points to give you all-day comfort and will dry out quickly if you get caught in the odd shower.
