What is the Summit Lite 15?
Good question! It's a super lightweight, 18-litre backpack. The Summit Lite 15 is incredibly versatile and ideal for accompanying you on various adventures, whether heading for a weekend hill walk or taking a trip to the supermarket.
What is it made of?
The pack is primarily made with recycled 100D robic triple-ripstop nylon UTS. Bit of a mouthful, right? Robic triple-ripstop nylon is durable and can withstand heavy use without quickly turning shabby. It's ideal for rugged, mountainous environments yet works well for more leisurely pursuits, thanks to its lightweight, packable construction.
Materials used to build the Summit Lite 15 are PFC-free, meaning they don't contain any per-fluorinated chemicals that cause permanent damage to our precious environment. They're also Oeko-Tex® 100 approved - Oeko-Tex® 100 tests for harmful substances to ensure the materials are safe for human health.
What are its features?
A large, zipped entry point gives you quick, easy access to the main compartment of this pack. On the lid, there's an internal pocket with a key clip inside to keep car or house keys safe on your adventures.
The Summit Lite 15 has a frameless construction to minimise weight and increase packability. It's hydration compatible yet has stretch side pockets to fit water bottles if you prefer, meaning you won't have to worry about them taking up valuable space in the main compartment.
Ice axe/trekking pole loops increase the versatility of this backpack, alongside front daisy chain attachments for attaching other belongings to the outside.
Shoulder straps feel comfortable and light. They have stretch pockets for keeping essentials on hand, such as energy gels, trail snacks or a mobile phone. A sternum strap and removable waist strap helps to keep the pack in place once mounted to increase comfort.
All of this can be tucked away into the pack's very own side or top lid pocket, making it incredibly convenient for trips to the supermarket, camping and backpacking as an emergency bag for separating kit.
