With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.
90-day returns period
We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

This is such a useful and eminently practical piece of kit, it isn't perhaps the most technologically advanced, or the most fashionable thing around right now but it performs superbly and just gets on with the job allowing you to enjoy your outdoor adventurers in comfort. Rab Carrington (as in the "Rab" in Rab!) originally devised the Vapour-Rise concept by combining the technology of high wicking micro fleece and Pertex Equilibrium fabrics to produce a single garment with a 2 layer construction that offers superb weather protection and immense breathability.
The Vapour-Rise Flex Jacket combines the performance of VR fabrics with the comfort and stretch of Matrix SWS side panels to produce a supremely lightweight, highly breathable and incredibly comfortable jacket resulting in a high wicking top that works perfectly as a mid layer or outer layer. This incredibly versatile garment offers year round protection for mountain activities by balancing comfort, windproofing and breathability; what more could you need?
The 2 layer Vapour-Rise technology uses your body heat as a pump along with the micro fleece brushed lining to push moisture away from your skin and move it to the face fabric. Pertex Equilibrium face fabric has larger filaments on the inside and smaller filaments on the outside. The laws of capillary action dictate that moisture will move from large filaments to smaller ones, pulling your sweat away from the lining and spreading it out over the large outer surface area. This evaporative heat loss and moisture wicking create a temperature equilibrium to keep you comfortable and dry in all conditions. Finally a robust DWR treatment on the outside repels water.
Rabs own Matrix SWS stretch softshell panels under the arms and down the sides ensure a close fit to maximise the wicking performance of the lining and provide unrestricted movement. Because the Vapour-Rise Flex jacket breathes so well it works perfectly as mid layer under your hardshell if the weather turns really nasty. We recommend using a smooth faced base layer under Vapour Rise garments as the smooth fabric will glide smoothly against the VR's wicking liner and maximises the wicking properties.
