Montane's Iridium Hybrid has been designed for moving fast in mountainous environments. Fleece is to this day one of the most breathable midlayers available, making it perfect for fast and light use where breathability and durability are paramount.
The Iridium Hybrid Pull-On combines two weights of fleece in a hybrid construction to increase durability, breathability and comfort when in technical environments. The main fabric used on high wear areas is a durable Pontetorto Technostretch Hard-Faced fleece; this hard-face increases the water resistance and durability, making it suitable for use with a rucksack and when you require a little more abrasion resistance. On areas less prone to high wear such as the underarms and upper back, a stretchy, more breathable DryActiv Lite fleece is used.
Increasing the flexibility and comfort of the fleece even further is Montane's technical articulated fit around the arms; this reduces the amount the fleece rises when your arms are above your head, but also results in a better fitting, more comfortable garment that layers better underneath additional layers.
Low profile cuffs fit nicely underneath shell garments, while a 1/4 length zip allows you to dump heat when working hard. As with all Montane garments, the seams are flatlocked to reduce uncomfortable chafing, especially useful when you're wearing the Iridium next to skin.
