From Shop to Service Centre

Much of the magic of how we conduct ourselves and our business here at Trekitt can be traced back to our roots in our first humble little shop in Abergavenny.

At the time, shops were all the rage, there were literally streets full of them, and they were run by real people with passion who knew what they were talking about. Those shop keepers were hardworking, honest people who only wanted to deliver the best service and products they could to their community and customers. Trekitt still has a real shop in the picturesque city of Hereford.

In that Hereford shop, you'll find the same ethos that made Trekitt a success all those years ago. Good spirited human beings wanting to impart their passion and help their community of customers get the right kit for the job they have in hand.

However, we all know that things have changed recently as the Covid pandemic has engulfed the world, and it appears that shopping as we once did will change beyond all recognition. Here at Trekitt, we have thought hard about how to adapt to the new normal and feel that creating a specialist "Service Centre" is the best way to keep everyone safe whilst still providing our exceptional service and that Trekitt "experience".

So, if you want to come and visit us at the new Hereford Service Centre, from the 16th of June, you will need to make an appointment. This is pretty much the same as you would have to do for any specialist service such as a doctor, dentist, mechanic, osteopath, hairdresser, etc. It's incredibly easy to do and you can make an appointment directly from our website, please watch the "How to" video below.

Please note that we simply cannot squeeze all of our extensive range into the Service Centre, so if there is a particular bit of kit that you want to view at your appointment we would strongly encourage you to check stock availability online and do a CLICK AND COLLECT order to ensure the kit you need is at the Service Centre in time for your appointment. Our stock sells really fast online and we are therefore unable to "reserve" items for appointments.

How to book an appointment

  • Click the "Book Now" at the bottom of this page
  • Select a service from the options. Additional appointment information is available on the button next to the service heading.
  • Select your date from the calendar and then a time from the available appointments below.
  • Enter your details and any additional information you might think will prove useful for your visit. The more information we have beforehand, the better service we can provide when we see you. (Please note you will have to tick our privacy and cancellation policy box to progress further with your booking.)
You will then see a confirmation page with all your appointment details along with a handy map on how to get to us.

Important information - What to know before attending your appointment at the Trekitt Service Centre

  • Only one person per service appointment.
  • Face coverings/Masks are to be worn by customers and staff at all times.
  • Please use the Hand Sanitiser station available upon entry.
  • Card Payments only, cash will not be accepted.
  • The shop will be sanitised regularly throughout the day.
