What is the Touring Mid Jacket?The Touring Mid jacket is a brilliantly designed techy mid-layer jacket that is stretchy, breathable, warm and will wick away moisture leaving you comfortable when taking part in high output activities. Ideal for mountaineering, climbing, hill walking and ski touring.
What is the Touring Mid Jacket made from?Haglofs have used a mix of Polartec Alpha and Polartec Power Stretch to make the Touring Mid Jacket. Polartec Alpha is 100% Polyester with 63% of the fabric being made from recycled materials. Basically, it's a knitted insulation fabric that is warm, will wick away moisture, will allow heat to escape and will move with you during your outdoor activities.
Polartec Power Stretch does exactly what it says on the tin — made from 84% recycled polyester and 16% elastane, this stretchy fleece allows you to move freely with no restriction. Both fabrics used in the Touring Mid are aimed at being as breathable as possible, making this an ideal midlayer for high-output activities or when wearing a shell over the top.
What are the features?The main features are the fabrics used to make this technical mid jacket. It is super warm, comfortable and breathable which is exactly what you want on colder days. There is one chest pocket which is more than enough to carry your essential bits and bobs.
