With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Brand:Scarpa
Code:70034-001
The Scarpa Vapor V has been updated and improved to deliver that rare combination of comfort and high performance. They have also gone on a diet and shed a few grams as well as improving the aesthetics, adding a rubber toe patch and improving the heel fit even further to make Scarpa's most popular velcro shoe even better.
Scarpa has used the phenomenally grippy and stable 3.5mm Vibram XS Edge rubber to provide oodles of friction with great edge support. To keep things well under control in the most pumped out situations Scarpa has incorporated a bi-tension rand; a reverse slingshot rand is anchored under the critical toe area and connects directly to the heel rand. This ingenious system actively pulls power from the toes, rather than cramming your toes painfully forward, giving immediate performance with less tension; and that means less rubber, making the Vapor V lighter, more sensitive and more reactive. The uppers are made from a low stretch Microsuede and now feature a rubber toe patch and the brilliant Slingshot Power system to keep your foot firmly locked into place even through the most demanding problems.
The Vapor V is a true all rounder and is suitable for sport, trad, bouldering and indoor climbing; apparently Dave Macleod has climbed E10 in his pair, though I suspect that's got more to do with his amazing ability than the shoes he was wearing!
