What is the Mojito?
The Mojito is a versatile and functional everyday shoe that can also be used for approaches and scrambling. Scarpa developed the Mojito to both hug your foot and give you precise, stable footing on a wide range of different terrains.
What are they made of?
Upper:The Mojito uses a full suede upper for support, with a soft padded collar and tongue for comfort. The lacing goes all the way down to the toes and is a very classicMojito characteristic - this means you can adjust the lacing along the length of the shoe allowing for a very precise and tailored fit.
Membrane:Underneaththat upper is a Gore-tex membrane that is fully waterproof to protect your feet in the worst weather.
Midsole: The Mojito has an EVA layer running the full length of the foot that gives great cushioning and shock absorbancy.
Sole:The Mojito uses a Vibram sole that offers high levels of durability and grip. Alongside that, Scarpa uses ACTIV Impact Technology. This system is used in the soles construction and uses materials with physical and chemical characteristics that are able to absorb impact with the ground, increasing shock-absorption.
What are the features?
Speed lacing: This system is integrated with the ergonomic design of the upper and allows the optimal adjustment of the internal volumes of the shoe and the perfect wrapping of the foot, in a simple and quick way, making the fit more precise and customised.
Flex Point System:The Flex Point System allows your ankles complete freedom of movement, even in the stiffest of boots and shoes, whilst maintaining support and confidence on all terrains.
Heel Tension System: this is an innovative system that is applied to the heel area and the upper of the shoe - it offers great stability and adapts to severe stress when walking on steep routes. This system helps to avoid torsionaltwists and makes walking easier even on difficult and rough terrains.
