What are the Alpine Pro Gaiters?
These classic mountain gaiters are perfect for shielding your boots and ankles from getting submerged in water, snow and mud. Using a 3-layer Gore-Tex® Pro upper, the Alpine Pro Gaiters offer maximum protection whilst feeling comfortable and easy to wear.
What are they made of?
These gaiters are constructed using a 3-layer Gore-Tex® Pro 80D upper, with 500D reinforcements on the lower leg.
Gore-Tex® Pro is one of the most rugged Gore-Tex® fabrics available. It's durably waterproof, completely windproof and highly breathable to optimise temperature regulation and keep warmth inside. Gore-Tex® Pro is suitable for extreme conditions, including harsh snow, torrential rain and strong winds.
What are their features?
Push these gaiters to their limits up in the mountains, scrambling through streams and hiking through wet, boggy terrain. Constructed with tough Gore-Tex® Pro, they are sturdy enough to withstand the harshest conditions, making them a reliable and versatile piece of kit. Reinforcement on the lower leg provides extra durability in high wear areas, helping to extend their lifespan. These gaiters fit close around the ankle to keep the feet sealed while ensuring that no excess fabric will be caught on brambles or sharp objects.
These gaiters are quick and easy to put on and remove thanks to the simple front opening zip. A press stud closure sits behind the storm flap to secure the zip and prevent the gaiters from coming undone whilst on the move. An adjustable Hypalon underfoot strap keeps the gaiters in place and attached to the boot. This strap is also removable if you prefer to have a little more freedom underfoot, great for more technical adventures!
A concealed drawcord adjustment at the rear of the gaiters allows the wearer to customise the fit without adding too much extra bulk, keeping the overall look tidy and sleek.

The Alpine Pro Gaiters have a close fit around the ankle to maximise their performance, lessen bulk and make them feel much nicer to wear.
Where do they fit in the layering system?
Gaiters should be worn over trousers and hiking boots as extra protection from wet conditions.
